Kaho Abe

Kaho was fascinated with dancing when she was 13 years old, and since then she has experienced various styles of dance including modern ballet, classic ballet and jazz dance.
After graduating from Hosei University with the degree of Japanese literature, she started her career as a professional dancer at Kojima Shoji Flamenco Dance Company. As a promising young dancer, she toured around Japan and experienced numerous stages.

In 1997, she ran into belly dance, finding it would open out her possibilities of dancing infinitely. Mesmerized with belly dance, Kaho studied under Kayo Aoki and came to visit Egypt many times. In Egypt, she studied not only the techniques but also the spirits of belly dance from the very first-class dancers.

Now Kaho has already established her reputation as a glamorous belly dancer, but she is very energetic to collaborate with the talented artists of other fields, which helps her to develop artistic belly dance style of her own.
While she is very popular as a prominent dancer and instructor, she also has produced highly acclaimed performances as a choreographer.
